Find old versions
ModelShift reads code on your team’s machine and checks for models with documented retirements. Your source code is not sent to us.
For businesses that build AI into their applications
Does your app use OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or Bedrock? ModelShift finds old versions with announced shutdowns in your code. Your team knows what to check and when to act.
Your app uses an AI model to answer customer questions.
Its provider announces that this version will shut down.
Your team tests and approves the change. No code is changed automatically.
The tool helps reduce a specific risk; it does not guarantee uptime. It finds model names written in files and may miss some uses. Read the limitations.
Product demo
No coding needed to try it: run the example already filled in. A developer can also paste a snippet from your app. Analysis stays in your browser; no code is sent to us.
Run the example to detect known lifecycle risks and replacements.
How it works
A developer installs the scanning tool, called a CLI, in your environment. The CLI is not publicly distributed at this stage; accepted teams receive it for a free 14-day trial. See the steps, no call needed.

The report shows affected files, announced dates and known replacements. A developer checks whether those references are actually used.
Your team can add the scan to your app’s automated tests. They control alerts, release blocks and model changes.
Dates come from the providers
This list collects the models we track and their known shutdown dates. Every entry links to an official announcement. Coverage is not exhaustive.

Not for simply using ChatGPT in a browser. ModelShift is for businesses whose developers integrate AI models into an application or automation they maintain.
No. Complete the questionnaire, send the pre-filled request and receive written steps. Someone on your technical team still needs to install the tool and approve changes. See the trial process.
The demo analyses the snippet in your browser and this page does not send it to a server. The CLI, available only to pilot participants and not publicly distributed at this stage, reads files on their machine and displays detected IDs, paths and line numbers locally.
Not in this version. ModelShift identifies risk and known replacements. An automatic migration would require provider-specific evaluations and human review.
Entries come from official provider documentation. Providers may revise their dates, so each registry version includes a review date and links to its sources.
